-40C and I have to check if my car will start.

At 7pm on Dec 14th 2009, I go out to see if my car will start after an unsuccessful attempt earlier in the day.

At -40C (-40F)

-Exposed skin freezes in minutes

-rubber hoses become brittle

-oil thickens

-moisture in gas tanks can freeze and block the gas line

-batteries become weak
